The Laidlaw Memorial School and Junior College of St. George’s Homes. Ketti was founded in 1914 by the Late Rev. John Breeden to provide a Home and sound liberal and general education, based on Christian principles for the children of the Protestant European and Anglo- Indian Communities coming from poor backgrounds under scholarship. A nominal fee is charged to students from other communities. Our mission is to help students experience a wide range of ideas and choices in the context of a rigorous curriculum and a supportive residential community.

The vision of The Laidlaw Memorial School & Jr. College is to provide holistic education to our students making them excel in academics, sports, cultural and service programs. Through our motto, ‘Self-Reliance’, we mould them to become good human beings and valued global citizens.
