All children deserve a happy childhood and the opportunity to lead a life of dignity; safe from violence, exploitation, abuse, neglect, deprivation and discrimination. The Guidance Cell of the Laidlaw Memorial School and Junior College aims to give a protected childhood through Child Rights and Protection Centre (CRAPC) formed under the guidance of State Council of Educational Research and Training.
The Guidance Cell conducts various awareness programs and seminars on topics like Cyber Safety, Child Rights Protection, Suicide Prevention, Child Marriage etc. A Safety Box to receive complaints and feedback is placed near the Head Master’s Office. Awareness Posters are also displayed to create awareness among the children.
